Dr. Sarj Wazir is the sole veterinarian here at Peel. He comes to us with over 20yrs experience in veterinary medicine. Sarj was born in Kashmir India. He graduated from Hayana Agriculture University which is known as one of the most recognized Veterinary University’s in all of Asia. He has worked as a veterinary surgeon in India for over 3 years for the government. He has been a veterinarian in Canada since writing his exam for his DVM in 2000. He has worked extensively with small animals and exotics. He has assisted with ASPCA, Canadian Fish and Wildlife. He is part of the community reach programs such as having volunteers gain experience and participating with students in their high school and college coop programs and just be able to give back to the community.
Sarj lives at home with his beautiful wife and 2 teenage children, as well as 2 Shih Tzu fur babies; Cookie and Gary.

In his spare time Sarj can be found in the conservation area near his home in Milton, reading a good book or just relaxing with his feet kicked up watching a television program.
